Just recently the European Commission has adopted two proposals for a Council Recommendation in the context of the European Year of Skills adressing the difficulties in equipping people with the necessary digital skills. Against the backdrop of the digital transformation, their goal is to foster digital education and (up-skilling)trainings in all EU Member States ensuring that 80% of adults have at least basic digital competences.
All the more, the DiMiCare project partners are motivated to achieve their goals and push the digital upskilling of care professionals. So far, all partners have created a national report about the use of technology in the care sector and the digital training needs of care professionals in their countries. Currently these reports are compiled to a transnational report that will provide a key basis for the developement of the training programme. More news coming soon!
